? ? Makki al-Hijazi narrating lies and stories from the Arabian Nights (Alif Laila) in the Haram ? ?
A Hanafi muqallid by the name of Muhammad Khayr a.k.a. Makki al-Hijazi is a Deobandi with Ikhwani with Jamat-e-Islami/Tanzeem leanings who has been granted a teaching chair in the Haram for many years.
To propagate Hanafi taqleed he narrates fabricated stories from “the Arabian Nights”, commonly known as “Alif Laila”, without actually mentioning the sources.

Apparently “Scheherzad”, the queen in the Arabian Nights who is narrating the stories in the main storyline, is a thiqah narrator for the hanafi muqallids. And to add to the misguidance he does this as a part of his Tafseer Duroos.

May Allah ﷻ guide Makki al-Hijazi and protect the ummah from these false teachings and purify the Haram from such preachers of falsehood.
