This heresy is something the Imams of Ahlus sunnah fought against, many of them were tortured for it and many laid down their lives for it.
#1 Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal
#2 Imam abu Yaqub Yusuf ibn Yahya al-Buwayti, the student of Imam ash Shafai
#3 Naeem ibn Hammad al-Khuzai
#4 Bishr ibn Walid al-Kindi, student of Imam abu Hanifa
#5 Muhammad ibn Nuh, student of Sufyan al-Thawri
amongst many others (رحمهم الله تعالى)
And here we are after 12 centuries, fools taken as scholars by the masses making it acceptable.
نعوذ بالله من ذلك
May Allah ﷻ protect the ummah from this fitan!
