Riad Ouarzazi and Waleed Basyouni of Almaghrib Institute use the Haram Masjid in Makkah as the set for their commercial to pitch their paid services. Abu Hurayrah (radhiyAllaahu ‘anhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “If you see someone selling in the Masjid or buying, then say, “May Allaah not cause success in your business.” and if you see someone announcing a lost item then say, “May Allaah not return it to you.”
al-Mustadrak 2/56, at Tirmidhi no. 1321. al-Hakim said Sahih on the conditions of Imam Muslim and Imam Dhahabi agreed with him. Imam Tirmidhi declared it Hasan.
