For those who came in late…
Jamiat India has a policy of going on & off in their support for Zakir Naik, depending on mutual benefits and circumstances. This event is from the year 2003 when Jamiat had a conference in Mumbai, India. In this conference Zakir Naik hurt their ego in his speech that it is incorrect to call oneself “Ahle Hadeeth” (Ahlul Hadeeth in urdu), the reply was later given on the same stage against his speech by Abdul Hamid Rehmani, the audio is Hindi/Urdu. Now again some shameless Jamiatis forget all the insults that Zakir Naik has made on them and pretend to support him foolishly.
