Questioner: there is an English speaker – Mufti Menk. He studied in Jamia – Madina and later studied in Deobandi school in Gujarat, India. His Manhaj is not clear, if he is Deobandi or Ahle-Hadeeth
Shaykh: Where does he live?
Questioner: He lives in Zimbabwe, He is commonly invited by organizations in India
But his Manhaj is not clear, if he is Ahle-Hadeeth or Deobandi
When he made exegesis of Surah Taha, he skipped the Ayat No. 5 (which speaks about Istawa of Allah) he never made exegesis of it. He skipped it. And he is frequently invited by various Deobandi organizations
So is it permissible to seek knowledge from such a person?
Shaykh: It is not at all permissible in a least knowledge from such a “Khasi (castrated man)”, who is a “Hijdah (eunuch)”
There are many people of knowledge. And these types of individuals are harmful They have share in misguiding the youth
Questioner: He does not speak on Aqeedah rather on general topics like “improve manners”, “don’t judge others”
Shaykh: Okay?? even the followers of Jamaat Tablighi do the same
