? ? Makki al-Hijazi preaching lies and shirk in the Haram ? ?
A Hanafi muqallid by the name of Muhammad Khayr a.k.a. Makki al-Hijazi is a Deobandi with Ikhwani with Jamat-e-Islami/Tanzeem leanings who has been granted a teaching chair in the Haram for many years.
Its disgusting to see someone who has been blessed to reside in the city of Makkah since years and has been given the opportunity to have a chair to teach in the Haram, using this opportunity to teach lies and propagate shirk in Baytullah.

#1 [Time 0:48] First he narrates some fabricated story about a debate of Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمه الله) [ b.80AH – d.150AH] having a debate with:
Imam Sufyan ibn Uyaynah (رحمه الله) [b.107AH – d.198 AH],
Imam Awzai (رحمه الله) [b.88AH – d.157AH]
and Imam ash Shafai (رحمه الله) [b.150AH – d.204AH].
Without mentioning any references.
This story is definitely fabricated because Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمه الله) died in the year 150AH and Imam ash Shafai (رحمه الله) was born in the year 150AH.
Furthermore any such stories which mention any such meeting between the two Imams are fabricated stories by blind muqallideen to justify the bidah of their forefathers. All such foolish false stories always end up with Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمه الله) winning the debates by some eloquent answer without giving any reference from Quran and Sunnah, just like the one mentioned here by Makki al-Hijazi.
#2 [Time 4:15] Another baseless story without any reference about Imam ash Shafai (رحمه الله) going to Baghdad and respecting Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمه الله) by avoiding to recite Surah Fatehah behind the Imam in salah. When asked why he did it, he says due to Haya (humility) of the grave of Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمه الله)
Its fascinating this same story repeats across many Hanafi Muqallid books, but the Fiqh masala changes all the time, sometimes is for Raful yadayn, sometimes it is for Dua`a Qunoot, etc.
#3 [Time 4:30] Makki al-Hijazi admits going to Baghdad for Ziyarat al Quboor to the tombs of Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمه الله) and Shaikh Abdul Qadir al-Jeelani (رحمه الله) and that he did all such Ziyaraat in Baghdad. Travelling journey to visit such specific decorated tombs/shrines (such ziyarat) is a means to Shirk.

May Allah ﷻ guide Makki al-Hijazi and protect the ummah from these false teachings and purify the Haram from such preachers of falsehood.
